Personally, I follow ProJared, Jirard the Completionist, The Warp Zone and Game Grumps. I draw some inspiration a bit from each but in a way paraphase some filming methods and combine to think of my own way to do things.
How about you guys?

mathewmatosis in the sense that reviews should be a total evaluation of a game, not to inform ones purchase since there's a sea of those types of reviews. Schlocky B movie humor for the rest.

Man, there are so many youtubers that inspire me. I think that's why my videos are sort of all over the place. Jontron, Matthewmatosis, TamashiiHiroka, The Completionist, Caddicarus, JWittz, Shaymay, DiGi Valentine... and that's not even including all of the great animators out there.

Like Content said, there's too many good ones. But personally I think the biggest because of the mix of good quality ideas and hilarity would be RedLetterMedia and SleepyCabin.

In terms of humor, I steal most of my shtick from Tim and Eric and Red Letter Media. I like to throw in little dabs of Zappa-esque social commentary as well. I tend to like boring stuff, though. I watch too many car shows on Youtube to be able to emulate their styles.

You're doing alright not emulating them.

While I could say people like JonTron and Caddicarus, I take inspiration more from actors most likely because that's my background. My mannerisms and way of talking in my videos are loosely inspired by the likes of David Tennant and one can guess that Robin Williams is in the back of my mind too. Might just be the Aladdin obsession.

I've watched a lot of top dogs in the past / present, who have inspired me in some way, shape or form. It all depends on the type of video I'm watching:
If it's a review, then LJN Defender, AVGN, Pat the NES Punk, JonTron and PeanutButterGamer are just a handful of guys I watch.
If it's a Let's Play, then Markiplier, PewDiePie and KSIOlajidebt always spark the most inspiration for me.

If it's a review, then LJN Defender. Spoke to a bit when he was starting his channel off, fairly nice guy.

AVGN, JonTron and Caddicarus are the main three for me. Maybe Angry Joe for a while but not so much what he does these days.
Caddicarus is the main one inspiring me start my current channel and doing more structured content.
AVGN made me realise what could be done as a home project type thing years back... So he's probably the one that started it all for me.

Jontron, Videogamedunkey, Sleepycast, Projared, PBG... Normal Boots are the gaming inspirations.
Though recently I've been inspired by I hate everything and GradeAunderA.
I've always done what I wanted with my channel and didn't try to think of who the inspiration for the video in question was.
To say I have one single inspiration would be a lie. (Jontron and I have a similar sense of humor (Game grumps) so I've always liked his comedy from the get go.)

I liked JonTron when he had like 30k subs. Basically, before he was cool.

I've never watched him really. save that "I hate nuts and bolts" video Ah yes, the video that turned the whole internet on a quite unique and inspired game. (I say that but I still like JonTron)

Who doesn't like Jontron's sense of humor? The guy's a natural comedian, lol. JonTron's humor is so well-known, that his initial reactions to things have become internet memes! I've even used some of them myself to describe how I feel of certain things that have happened! My favourite one, is where he's vomiting in the bucket from the Starfox Adventures episode..

I love both the Star Fox Adventures and Banjo Kazooie Nuts & Bolts ones of his but I am that person who also genuinely enjoyed the games! It's all so over the top though it makes me laugh all the same

Yeah, Star Fox Adventures is actually one of my favorite games. There's so much hate toward that game just because it's not a regular Star Fox game... just like Nuts and Bolts actually.
