So this is essentially my go at a shorter, more condensed and focused opinion piece to go along with my usual longer, visual based foolishness on the channel. Some of you may have seen me editing the original version of this which was quite bouncy and still retained some visual jokes placed in during the editing stages... But ultimately it felt like a cheap attempt at my usual content and because EVERYTHING was animated to bounce around the screen it did actually hurt my eyes watching it back. So this is what I settled with, just my thoughts along with a little animated 'me' to present small segments of it. I may continue this idea with basically any game I don't feel needs it's own full video. Just after any feedback regarding the visual format? For instance, in hindsight the cartoon 'me' could be a tad too big on-screen? Overall the lack of animated bullshit is what I wanted to go for and and pretty happy altering things a bit for whatever I do next in this simplified format so... Yeah, that's about it! I actually liked this a lot more than your usual stuff. I guess it's because you're more down to earth on this with your opinion, and it actually kind of convinced me to try this demo out.
Maybe you could do this for other future videos like current games and the like.

I liked the beginning of it. I didn't watch the whole thing because I'm planning on playing through the demo soon myself and didn't really want to spoil anything, but I think what you have looks good.

Maybe you could do this for other future videos like current games and the like. I've been meaning to branch out from the craziness for shorter, more focused videos for a while (Ratchet & Clank Nexus was going to be the first) because I know my usual stuff isn't to everyone tastes. So I'm glad you liked it! And that's pretty much the plan for this format. Looking at my shelf I can already see 4-5 games to start off with which are all relatively recent games that I've still to properly give a play through. |

That's fair enough, for regular games I wouldn't be going into spoilers but considering this demo's length, and the fact that most of the experience comes from actually playing it that's understandable! Very quirky and enjoyable review there Pete! I especially like your animated character making movements.. completely makes the video for me! Not a bad game franchise to be reviewing either!

Nice video Petro! Made me want to check out the demo.
I think that it's somewhat more interesting to hear you talk about a game without the goofy jokes.
I'd certainly recommend this style if your more interested in faster content, but your other style works well for "bigger" games if that makes sense.

The idea is this could be something I do more regularly to tide viewers over between my other videos as they take significantly longer to produce. It's good that you mentioned your lack of attachment to the series at the start of the video. Maybe you could keep some more humor in there from your other series, just with toned down visuals? The video was interesting, but I think your best quality is the humor.

Thanks, with one of the next one's I'll try and put some humour in there to see how well it works without my overzealous visual editing stuff I did one more recently on the Uncharted Collection and the next two are looking to be Uncharted 4 and Tales From The Borderlands...
