So like the title says I'm looking to improve my content, my most recent video isn't preforming as well as my previous one and I'm thinking it has something to do with something in the video.

Very solid editing. But I feel like this review seems pretty exclusive to people who have played Shantae already. As someone who has never played Shantae before, I felt kind of lost throughout the whole video. Also, in the beginning when you're commenting on what happens in the intro cutscene, everything felt kind of rushed or overly fast-paced. I don't entirely know how to explain it, but it felt like everything happened too quickly. One more thing I will say is the GBC gag is kind of overdone, but if you really want to do it to have a mascot, I'd recommend toning down the robotic sounds a bit. It was somewhat hard to understand what it was saying, and its voice was distracting for lack of a better term. Again, great editing, good format, solid jokes, good video.

Okay the robot thing was kinda weird and I didn't like it. I think that's my personal taste though, I'm not a fan of that kind of shtick. As far as your review goes, it felt more like a story summary for 7 minutes and then some actual game critiques for the last 2. The result was me forgetting I was watching a review video along with being a bit confused because I haven't played a Shantae game. You seem to assume most people know anything about the Shantae games, which probably isn't a fair bet. I would focus more on critiquing/analyzing the game than summarizing it if you've got the word "Review" in your title, along with gearing it more to the casual viewer. I do like the scenes you construct and the humor you inject, I'm just not sure how to reconcile that with the video being an actual review.

I kinda found the audio levels changing at different times. like when you did the whole sprite cut scene thing, the audio seemed to be much louder than the rest of the audio in the video which can be distracting sometimes. other than that i would say this was pretty solid, keep improving and you get better. Good job man.

I can't understand the robot. If I had just stumbled across at random probably would have clicked off right then. The animation is great though. In the review, the plot summary could probably be trimmed down. That's all I got, you're a smooth editor.

The animation on this video is solid, but this doesn't feel like a review. I mean, you spent the entire video talking about the plot, which isn't bad but when people expects game reviews, they want to see if this game looks pretty and plays well, story shouldn't be the main focus. Because of that, I kind of got uninterested with the video, especially when you put in the animation segments. They are fine and all, but serve no context whatsoever.
When you finally came to your review, all you've done is placed a gigantic bulletin board of positives and negatives while explaining yourself. This feels more like a lecture than a review, and people you come to YouTube for game reviews don't want to be lectured.
It's a good effort, but you need to be focused. Also, the robot voice thing is alright, but doesn't serve much purpose to me.
