It is on par with your other videos and fits your style well, I think.

The style transitions well. For the record I find your editing work super impressive since I can just see the hours piling on to make these effects, but the results are great!

I enjoyed the live action stuff, so no worries there. The video seems a bit long, and a bit more organization to your review might help with that. Otherwise I enjoyed it, good humor and good review.

Good video guy. I agree it felt like it could have been trimmed a little bit but overall a solid viewing experience. Good work!

It's a good review. However, here's a few things I want to talk about.
1. Your editing is really nice but the first half was full of images and such while the last half was a little more toned down. I kind of preferred style being like the last half using not too many picture gags. Found it too distracting. 2. Live action is a great first effort, and with time, you'll definitely get a way better camera presence. 3. VO is getting better, and it should be more energetic. 4. Slight nitpick but the end when you cut to black felt a bit abrupt. Probably could have used something a better transition to get to your end card.
With all that said, keep it up.

I thought it was a pretty solid video, I really like your editing style anyway and the little live action intro just seemed to make sense.
Obviously there's the looking at the paper for lines, but I know what its like. I struggle with what I've written myself for on-camera segments. You made fun of that during the editing stage as a joke which shows your aware of it too so, yeah!
Keep it up!

The following is my feedback alone. I like to remind people when I do share it, that these are my thoughts alone and I as one viewer may not make up the general opinion of your viewing demographic. The Good:Clean audio, balanced well enough. Branding and other visual elements work well with one another, nothing bad to say about that; does its job after all. The Bad:Drawing attention to the fact that you are getting used to on-screen segments is the last thing you want to do. Yes, self-deprecating humour is a thing but making it even more obvious than it is just hurts the production more than needed. Subjective opinion, more so than bad I’d say… Your editing is far too sporadic for the style of review you are presenting to the audience. You are very soft spoken, going for a “traditional” YouTube style review and yet you’ve got lots of visual assets and cutaways on screen nearly all the time. It takes attention away from your comments or any gameplay present. As impressive as you’re editing is… It’s hurting the end product. Throw in the length and it was a nauseating experience half way in. Overall:You need a change in direction and that change is needed within writing style. Shocking to hear I know, but I actually think there is a place and community for the type of whacky and nonstop visual editing you provide. It’s certainly not in a near 12 minute review mind! You need to do shorter, more direct visual humour than pointing out obvious gameplay issues. There is a channel called Perrydactyl. Might have heard of him? He has a side series called Hype Reviews. Fits the formula that you may like. I've embedded in this sentence, a link to one of his videos for reference.

What Tentacle suggests. Perry definitely knows his stuff at this point, and his Hype Reviews are great. Take some notes from his Legend of Zelda II review and see what he does right, just ignore the obvious VHS filtering.
