After watching ehmaysi's videos i remembered GTA V made a big deal about their in house video editor. I know ehmaysi has the camera work down and as far as i know there's no super popular GTA V machinima. like the red vs. blue of GTA V has not been created yet. Why not get a script going and see what multiple people can do with their editor?

I wouldn't be against it. I'm terrible at writing scripts and coming up with a story, but I'd be down for some camera work. I haven't done much with shooting characters or small-scale shots, but I'm sure I could still maintain that same level of "visual appeal (?)". Food for thought at least.

I'm at least semi decent at scripts and comedy. I have a copy of GTA 5. so i know i could work something given if i know how many people have what's needed to make something like that.

I found a machinima with great cinematic pacing here
They really put in some great filmmaking tools. if i knew who was for sure down, i'd start writing a script and playing around with the editor to see what's possible and what's not.

I'd be willing to give it a shot. I'm just hesitant because I know how I work; it's a little unorthodox, and only really works with the videos I make. In that one week buffer between videos, five days involves me going about my life, listening to new tracks until I hear something I'd like to use. The next day I'll listen to it throughout, visualizing what I want to record for it, and then the last one is a late-night, binge shoot/record/edit into the morning. It works well for me now, and what I've done so far, but I don't think that process works for much else.
I'd love to work together on something though, don't get me wrong, and I'm willing to change things up a bit to make it work.

Basically i'd handle script writing. Get some VA's. Camera work for action scenes or dramatic scenes would be handled by you. etc. That video was really solid though and no machinimas out there have a strong cast yet. There's some brilliant camera work. but no organized acting / writing etc.

Alright, I can do that. I think so too, there are a handful of really well put together machinimas, even other GTA V ones, but none have a great VA cast, they all sound like teenagers playing adults. I'll have to mess with some new mods that can handle set direction, I know they exist, pretty sure that video even mentions the one they used. Think there's potential here, especially with someone who can write.

I'd be willing to try and pitch in somehow. I'm actually interested in seeing if I can voice act. It would help me focus on my voice work for my content, but wouldn't be as restrictive as my boring analytical scripts. Maybe if there's a part you'd think my voice would fit well. I know the voice work in my content is flat, I'm thinking I can do a lot better if I'm given something dramatic/comedic. I can try out at least . Also if you need music I can put something together depending on the genre/style.

My suit is comedies. I like writing characters that coincide with the actors playing them so people don't have to fight against their type too much. I gotta find a way to keep track of who's serious about this so i don't write for some one not interested or reliable
